The guide itself remains our copyright and is subject to the Intellectual Property terms above, so please do not redistribute the file, host it elsewhere, or offer it as your own resource. Point people at the guide page instead. We may revise, replace, or withdraw the guide at any time.

Tips and Voluntary Support

The "Support my work" link in our footer leads to a tips page hosted by Kit. Tips are entirely voluntary gifts in support of freely available writing. Please read the following before sending one:

• A tip does not purchase any goods, services, or consulting, and buys no access to anything that is not already free on this site
• A tip creates no ongoing obligation on our part, and no advisory, professional, or client relationship of any kind
• Payment is taken and processed entirely by Kit and its payment processor on their own pages, under their terms; we never handle your card details
• Because a tip is a gift rather than a purchase, tips are non-refundable. If something has genuinely gone wrong, such as a duplicate or accidental charge, get in touch and we will try to sort it out
